About the Proprietors of the Castle


Mike Rubino

* Born and raised in Marblehead.
* Descendant of Generations of Marblehead Sea Captains including Moses Sweet, the "last deep water sailor in Marblehead."
* Descendant of "Ripley's Believe it or Not" fame William Dennis.
* Grandson of "one time" local boat builder Elbridge C. Girdler
* Occupation: College Attorney.
* Present sporting activity: Badminton
* Former College Fencer. --- Guests of the Castle need not be alarmed or "on guard." (I hung up my fencing sword a number of years ago)


Chris Rubino

* Born and raised in Marblehead.
* Occupation: Private Tutor (former teacher). --- Specialize in reading, mathematics, and special needs.
* Hobby: Collecting Antique Carousel Horses.


In addition to the above biographies the Proprietors have restored a number of 18th and 19th century homes in Marblehead, and are members of the following organizations:
